The beginning of this trail is pretty rugged . The large red rocky hills and creek beds are a challenge on a bike . Some you can't ride at all . This trail needs big time maintenance . The heavy rains we had this summer really tore up the creek crossings and downed some trees . Most of the trail is in good shape. The trail turns to dirt and some rock . Great for cruising and having fun . There are some technical climbs and downhill challenges to keep you from getting board . This trail could have been layed out better so you could see more of the bluffs on the east side . Still a fun ride overall .
